In case you're one of the few who don't know me, I was a stray on Vieques in 1997 - picked up and rescued by Penny Miller with the Vieques Humane Society. She cleaned me up, bandaged my tail stump (no one knows how I lost it) and saved my life!
I was adopted and taken to live with Joan Rudie in Wisconsin. I had a great life there and in 2001 Joan and I came to live back on Vieques. I want to help other stray and homeless animals like me, so now I'm opening a thrift store to raise money for the animals on Vieques.
